Scott Mahoney

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Mahoney has almost 20 years of finance and executive management experience and has held positions at several public and privately held companies in the banking, energy and recycling industries. Prior to joining MagneGas, Mr. Mahoney served as Chief Financial Officer of Phoenix Group Metals, LLC, a recycling company which he grew through various acquisitions. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of several oil and gas companies and as Vice-President of JP Morgan Chase. Mr. Mahoney is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and obtained his Bachelor Degree from the University of New Hampshire and his Master in Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of International Management.

Tyler B. Wilson, Esq.

Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer & General Counsel

Mr. Wilson has served as the Company’s General Counsel since mid-2017. On December 1, 2018, he was appointed as the Company’s Executive Vice President and corporate Secretary. During his time with the Company, Mr. Wilson has been instrumental in advancing the Company’s acquisition model, leading capital market financings and shoring up corporate governance. Mr. Wilson has served as the managing attorney of Wilson Law Group, PLLC, a corporate and securities boutique he founded in 2011. Over the course of his career, Mr. Wilson has founded a number of start-ups while managing Wilson Law Group and has developed extensive experience in business operations in addition to his legal expertise. Mr. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Richard Conz

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Conz is an accomplished professional with more than thirty years of engineering, program management, and new business development experience which included 28 years with Raytheon. His expertise includes component and system level design, integration and test, production, deployment and maintenance of complex electro-mechanical systems. He is well-trained and versed in engineering processes, strategy development, and project scoping, planning, execution, and budget/resource management throughout the entire program life cycle.

In 2011, he received a patent for performing complex cost/performance trades to determine system best value solutions. In 2013, Mr. Conz launched a successful consulting business, providing business development, program management, and engineering services. In this role, he provides leadership and direction in the areas of company/program assessments, market analysis, business intelligence, Price-To-Win assessments, and has a solid reputation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple markets. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University and held Program Management, Capture Management, and Six Sigma certifications.

Jack Armstrong

Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Armstrong has over 20 years of experience in the capital markets. He was a Managing Director at Piper Jaffray, Head of Trading at ThinkEquity Partners and recently the Senior Vice President of the Corporate Client Group at Northland Capital Markets assisting companies in strategy and capital raises. Over his career, Mr. Armstrong has worked with senior level management at several of the largest investment companies through the process of raising an estimated $5 billion of funds over his career. Mr. Armstrong received a Bachelors of Administration in Economics from Arizona State University.

Sal Pena

Executive Vice President of Western U.S. Sales and Operations

Mr. Peña has more than 20 years of successful business management experience in a variety of industries and more than 12 years in compressed gases and welding supplies. Mr. Peña holds a Bachelors Degree from San Diego State University in Industrial Arts with an emphasis on Manufacturing and Graphic Design as well as a Bachelors Degree in Spanish Literature.

Jered Ruyle

Executive Vice President of Central U.S. Sales and Operations

Mr. Ruyle has more than 14 years of experience in the packaged gas industry. Prior to joining MagneGas, Mr. Ruyle held key positions with his family’s milti-generational business in the welding supply industry. He has experience in fill plant operations, management of logistics teams and sales teams, and was the President of an independent packaged gas distributor. Mr. Ruyle obtained his Bachelor degree from the University of Texas at Tyler in Business administration.

Troy Galvin

Executive Vice President of Eastern U.S. Sales and Operations

Mr Galvin has over 25 years of experience in sales, operations and management, with nearly 10 years in the welding and industrial gas distribution market. His solid business acumen and collaborative management style have historically led to multiple record setting sales years. Troy attended Sacramento State College of Business Administration.

David Valle

Area Manager – Latin America

Mr. Valle has experience in the state government and technology sectors. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Spanish from Arizona State University. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs and Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Shelley Kitts

Vice President, Internal Reporting

Mrs. Kitts has more than 25 years of experience in financial statement preparation, internal controls, both internal and external reporting, and audits. She has worked for both publicly-traded and privately-held companies with revenues of $1M to $1B. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and a CPA certification.

James Merrick

Assistant Controller

Mr. Merrick brings a wealth of accounting, audit and compliance knowledge to the Taronis finance team. He has held several accounting management and audit positions and is actively studying for his CPA license. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University.

Eric R. Newell

Chief of Staff

Mr. Newell has more than twenty years of successful business management and hands-on operational experience in several diverse industries. At Taronis, he has been instrumental in transforming the company’s administrative and technology infrastructure into a framework that will scale effectively. He has previously served the company in several operational, project management and acquisition integration roles. In his current position, Mr. Newell works directly with the entire executive management team to help shape and execute the company’s overall operational strategy.

Julie White

Human Resources Manager

Ms. White is a Human Resources professional with more than a decade of human resource, benefits and payroll management experience. She previously worked for a large global supply-chain distribution company. She brings an extensive knowledge of employment regulations, employee administration, payroll processing, and benefits administration to the Taronis team.

Bethany Reed

Director of Marketing

Ms. Reed brings a broad spectrum of marketing and journalistic skills, as well as a background in education at the elementary and collegiate level. She has a variety of professionally published works, both in print and on digital platforms. Ms. Reed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Broadcast and Journalism from Arizona State University.
